Food Noise

We need to shift how we view body size. Being thin doesn’t always mean healthy, and being overweight isn’t automatically unhealthy. However, studies show that excess fat is linked to chronic diseases and shorter lifespans.

That said, addressing obesity should come from a place of sensitivity and care—not mockery or pressure. Just as we seek help for mental health, we must treat obesity as a physical health condition that deserves proper attention.

Promoting body positivity is great—but it should never justify unhealthy habits. With obesity being linked to diabetes, heart disease, and Alzheimer’s, it’s time we take public health action—urgently and compassionately.
